It means that if the same thing (such as an accident, a hailstorm, fire, or tornado) damages your vehicle and your home at the same time, you’ll only pay the auto deductible.¹ That could mean your claim check would be bigger by as much as $2,500 – or more if the deductible you choose is higher.
