Loan/Lease Gap coverage. Taking out a car loan? Already have a loan? Then make sure your insurance includes Loan/Lease Gap coverage. If you total your vehicle while you’re still paying it off, this coverage pays the outstanding balance on the loan.

No daily coverage amount limit for rented vehicles. Renting a vehicle for temporary transportation vehicle after an accident can be expensive – about $60 for a small vehicle to $300+ per day for a larger one. Signature Choice covers you up to $5,000 with no per-day amount limit, so you can rent what you need – from people movers to pickup trucks.

Customized value assignment. Highly customized or high-value vehicles aren’t well-supported by standard auto policies. Comprehensive and Collision coverage on standard auto policies pays the actual cash value of the vehicle, which can be difficult to establish, and is subject to depreciation. Instead of using a standard valuation method, we’ll work with you to establish a mutually agreed-upon value for your vehicle. So, if it has to be replaced or repaired after a covered incident or is stolen and not recovered, a Signature Choice policy will pay you what you and we agree the vehicle is worth.

Accident Forgiveness – Ouch! Your auto insurance rates can go up by more than 50% after an accident – and you’ll still have to pay your deductible! Keep that money, and up to $500 of your deductible, in your wallet with a policy that includes our Accident Forgiveness provision.

Expanded New Vehicle Replacement Cost Coverage – If your new vehicle is stolen and not recovered or totaled, we’ll pay for the full replacement cost of a similar new vehicle – no depreciation applied. Is PEL worth it? 

Since 2000, Electric Insurance has paid more than $89 million through the PEL insurance benefit to protect employees’ assets. And PEL costs less than an umbrella policy purchased outside the program, so you can have truly affordable peace of mind.
